HappyDesk is a posture awareness and habit-building tool for Mac. It provides estimates, reminders, and history to help you notice posture patterns while you work.
Acceptance
Your use of HappyDesk, including any website, download, update, beta build, or App Store version, means you accept these Terms of Use and any future terms posted for the product.
Not Medical Advice
HappyDesk is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease, injury, pain, or health condition. Posture scores, neck-load estimates, reminders, and related feedback are general wellness information only. Do not rely on HappyDesk as a substitute for a doctor, physical therapist, ergonomics specialist, or other qualified professional.
If you have pain, numbness, dizziness, an injury, a medical condition, or any concern about your health or workspace setup, stop using the app as needed and consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use the app and for deciding whether its suggestions are appropriate for you.
Use of the App
You may use HappyDesk for personal or internal business use. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass security or licensing controls, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
HappyDesk, including its name, logo, design, software, models, text, images, workflows, and other product materials, is owned by HappyDesk or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you permission to use the app, but they do not transfer ownership of the product or its content. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from HappyDesk except where allowed by law or by written permission from us.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, HappyDesk and its owners, employees, contractors, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, health outcomes, or workspace decisions arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of HappyDesk after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
